However formal the assessment process, results will be analysed and presented back to the supplier within two days of the workplace review as part of the assessment activity. The results will highlight the organisation's strengths as well as opportunities for improvements.

The assessment can be used to understand all facets of a smaller company, specific areas of a larger organisation and to assess specific supply chain areas of concern. It is the starting point for a meaningful improvement plan and setting targets for the improvement activities.
